TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ELIGIBILITY
You must be aged 17 or over and hold a valid driving licence (16 or over if you have a disability).
You must be able to read a licence plate from at least 20.5 metres away with or without glasses.
STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
You must bring your driving licence to your first lesson and present it to your instructor upon request. You will also need it for your driving test.
You must notify your instructor immediately of any condition or changes that could affect your ability or entitlement to drive.
You must be on time to your agreed lesson time.
You must follow your instructor’s guidance and OBEY ALL ROAD LAWS during lessons.
You must conduct yourself in an appropriate manner at all times.
ANY VERBAL OR PHYSICAL ABUSE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED whatsoever and your lesson will be immediately terminated.
You must wear appropriate footwear and clothing that does not restrict you from safe driving.
You must be fit to drive and MUST NOT BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS.
Your mobile phone must be switched off or on silent throughout the lesson.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE OR TERMINATE A LESSON WITHOUT REFUND IF ANY OF THE ABOVE CONDITIONS ARE NOT MET.
PAYMENTS
Payment for lessons can be made direct to your instructor. They will confirm payment methods.
Payment must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed with your instructor.
BLOCK BOOKINGS
Block booking packages are offered at a discounted rate.
Block booking packages are non-refundable once the first lesson of the block has been taken unless the instructor cancels and is unable to re-arrange.
The Introductory offer of a free lesson is ONLY AVAILABLE ON YOUR FIRST PURCHASE OF 10 HOURS OR MORE and is limited to ONE INTRODUCTORY OFFER PER CUSTOMER.
We reserve the right to remove or amend introductory offers at any time.
We may decline a block booking if it is not appropriate for the pupil or the instructor.
The price per hour may change from time to time, but lessons already purchased in advance will be honoured at the price paid.
Driving lessons purchased in your name CANNOT BE SOLD OR TRANSFERRED to another person.
LESSON SCHEDULING
Lesson appointments must be agreed between you and your instructor.
The instructor’s availability cannot be guaranteed for specific times until confirmed by them.
CANCELLATIONS
48 HOURS’ NOTICE is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
Repeated short-notice cancellations may result in lessons being declined.
The school reserves the right to cancel or re-arrange lessons due to instructor Illness, vehicle issues, heavy traffic or unsafe driving conditions such as bad weather. They will notify you as soon as possible and the lesson will be rearranged at no extra cost.
DRIVING TEST
You are responsible for booking your own driving test.
The instructor will advise when you are ready to take the test.
Use of the Instructors vehicle for the Driving Test is at the instructor’s discretion.
The instructor may refuse the use of their vehicle if they believe you are not sufficiently prepared or safe to take the test.
LIABILITY
The school and its instructors are responsible for ensuring that vehicles are properly insured, road worthy and well maintained.
The school DOES NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS OR INJURY CAUSED AS A RESULT OF YOUR NEGLIGENCE, including failure to follow instructions or comply with road safety laws.
You may be liable for any costs arising from negligent actions that result in damage.
DATA PROTECTION
All personal information provided will be handled in accordance with UK data protection laws and will not be shared with any third parties unless requested by the appropriate authorities.
We reserve the right to record lessons with the use of dashcam or audio equipment for training and safety purposes.
AMENDMENTS
We reserve the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time.
